My friend is a bit unlucky in love, she's like one of those Bridget Jones characters (but younger, I should point out!) who messes things up but is completely charming at the same time. She was telling me about a speed dating event she went to with a friend after work this week, and how awful it was!
She said most of the men were painfully boring, and one spent their 2 minute date telling her how he loves building things and just bought a lego star wars republic frigate and couldn't wait to get home to build it. Why he was at speed dating when he just wanted to play with his new toy and not actually make an attempt at successful speed dating is a mystery to me.
I don't think she really needs to do all this speed dating stuff, it'll happen for her one day she's only 27!
