Why is public transport full of such awful people? Are all the inhabitants of the UK really that bad or just the ones that get on my occasional bus routes?
I got the bus to my mum's house yesterday evening and the guy I stupidly sat next to would not stop ardently flicking through with the various functions of his Leatherman like a demented child with a new toy.
Then a man sat near me did not relent in staring at me and making weird noises with his mouth. I ended up staring at him for a length of time and asked him if there was a problem, and he just looked at my dumbfounded, but didn't stop staring, so I suggested he look elsewhere and eventually he kissed his teeth and did so. Unbelievable rudeness!
Next time I'll walk, it's not worth the stress of other people.
